Meade ETX-125EC with electric focuser and dual viewfinders is
my main telescope.
The
Meade ETX-125EC has dew viewfinders. The mounting bracket of the
straight viewfinder is originally for the ETX-60/70AT. I modified
the bracket so I can clamp it to the Meade #1247 electric focuser
housing with a stainless steel hose clamp.h
The
Meade ETX-125EC is also intalled with a Meade #678 compatible
Dew Shield/telescope protector which fit in my Meade ETX-125EC
hardcase very nicely.

ETX-125EC can be equiped with the Meade #1247 electric focuser. The
Meade #1247 electric focuser makes the Meade ETX-125EC telescopes
system more enjoyable. This is because I can focus my Meade ETX-125EC
telescope in any position very easily. Meade #1247 electric foucser
also provides smooth rapid focusing of the Meade ETX-125EC telescope
without touching the telescope itsself |

ETX-125EC come with a right-angle viewfinder makes it easy to perform
Polar alignment and find stars in odd telescope postion. However,
it is more natural to find stars with the straigh viewfinder. I
added a straight viewfinder to my Meade ETX-125EC telescope.
